Hey everyone! I’ll be diving into the latest changes and additions to Starshield. I’ve been working hard for the past few days to add new features and make improvements based on feedback. Here’s a rundown of what’s new in this update:
New Features:
- Keybinding - You can now rebind your keys in the options.
- Mouse Sensitivity - You can now change your mouse sensitivity in the options.
- Stamina System - A stamina system has been added to the booster. Now you will have to manage your booster regen speed carefully.
- 10+ Cards - Over 10 new cards have been added to the upgrade pool each unique.
- Sounds - Many sounds new have added to the game and or reworked.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where enemies would get upgrades you got.
- Fixed a bug where enemies would get stuck on each other or on the planets.
- Fixed a bug where enemies would not chase the player.
- Fixed a bug where enemies would not shoot the player.
- Many small and minor bugs in the GUI have been fixed.
Improvements:
- Object Pooling System - An object pooling system has been added to fix performance of the game. Now objects are no longer spawned runtime instead preloaded at the start of the game.
- URP Settings - Many unused Universal Render Pipeline settings have been disabled or removed.
- Many other code improvements have been done to reduce lags and stutters.
